For the love of the Chin
The Next SJCC Open show will take place on Saturday 16th November 2024 at Kingston Blount. 10 Baker's Piece, Kingston Blount, Chinnor OX39 4SW. The show opens at 9am.
The Southern Japanese Chin Club Open Show Saturday 1st June 2024.
Firstly, I would like to thank the committee for the invite, thanks to the exhibitors for entering & waiting until after the champ show had finished, and for taking time to show their dogs at the club. Thanks to the stewards, who kept the ring smooth running, plenty of promise up & coming in this breed, some nice dogs who after a long day, were still enjoying themselves and holding it together.
MPD (2) 1. Rooney, Green & Green's Jaschin Paw Star, 7 mths b/w, well balanced youngster, good shape to head, cushioned muzzle, astonished look to eye, neatly shaped ears, enough neck, compact body, this puppy insisted on keep looking back at me, to see if I was watching his stylish movement, covered the ring with ease, looked well in profile& demonstrated sound actions, coat coming through well of good texture, one to watch BPIS.2. Flynn's Sharlarna Its All About Me At Linjato, also 7 mths b/w, attractive head study, large eye c/w shocked look, head rounded in front, well bodied, level topline, in good coat for age, today moved ok but without lifting tail, I'm sure on another occasion will put it together.
PD (2,1 abs) 1. Pearce & Hann's Somergemz Tanjobi Rakuchin, 11 mths of age, b/w good construction, nice head proportions, broad skull, large eye, open nostrils, correct ears, sufficient neck leading to balanced body, moved with elevation, in good coat, tail set high & feathered.
JD (3) 1. Rooney, Green & Green's Jaschin Working Man I Am, 12 mths of age b/w stylish exhibit, moderately broad skull, good cushioning to muzzle, large eyes full of expression, v shaped ears, clear nostrils, moved elegantly with plenty reach & elevation, perhaps a little longer cast than some, however, sound in movement, neat profile, tail carried well, coat changing at present, a worthy class winner. 2, Baranzeck's Capevidle's Chinook, 16 months of age, appealing youngster, with pleasant temperament, suitable head properties, nice shape to skull, typical expressive look c/w astonishment, neatly cushioned muzzle, looked good in profile, moved well both directions, a little more coat & feathering in time, will complete the full picture. 3.Blow & Allen's Alstella Look At Me.
ND (1) Farmer's Sangria Rocket Man, b/w, plenty to like about him, good shaped head, rounded in front, open nostrils, large eye, cushioned muzzle, correct ear placement, cobby body, in good coat & of silky texture, moved ok, but wasn't at his best, on the stance portrayed a good profile, shame he didn't give his all on the move.
LD (4)1. Quinn's Sharlarna Swindler JW, elegant type, lovely head study, full of expression, good shape to skull, large eyes c/w desired look, open nostrils, cushioned muzzle, v shaped ears placed well, adequate neck, level topline, moved with elevation, neat front & good drive to rear, in super coat & condition, showed with poise. RBD & RBIS. 2. Farmer's Salvador Dali By Sangria, another good showman, correct head properties, large eyes, well placed ears, moderately broad skull, ample neck leading to straight topline, moved with good drive in rear, neat front & feet, in good coat of silky texture. 3. Burns & Hampton's Sleepyhollow Vincent.
OD (3) 1. Farmer's Sangria De Ja Vous, b/w, classic type, large head, rounded to front, expressive eyes c/w shocked look, clear nostrils, well cushioned muzzle, v shaped ears, suitable neck length, level topline, moved positive in front, well angulated to rear, looked great in profile, profuse coat c/w feathering, tail carried correct, stood out today BIS. 2. Evan's Evansly Emoji, well balanced exhibit, good head properties, nice shape to skull, good eye, open nostrils, moved accordingly with elevation, neat front assembly, tail carried over, looked well on stance. 3.Blow & Allen's Sheardream Eric.
VD (2) 1. Pearce & Hann's CH Rakuchin Kenji Na, 9 yrs, b/w, looking great for age, large head, expressive eyes c/w look of astonishment, good skull shape, cushioned muzzle, open & clear nostrils, good neck leading to level topline, moved with drive, super temperament, elegant looking, profuse coat with all the necessities. 2.Burden's Sangria War Lord, b/w, 8 yrs, another veteran in great shape, moderately large head, well set ears, correct eye, ample neck, moved well both directions, in good coat & condition, steadfast temperament.
R/W N D/B (7, 2 abs) 1' Steele's Naomi Jantarowa Chata At Threadgold (imp pol), 6 mths of age, promising puppy, typical expression, head rounded in front, correct eye, good shape to ears, reasonable neck, level topline, Coat coming through nice, moved in happy puppy fashion, good front, neat in rear, one to watch BP R/W. 2. Baranzeck's Capevidle's Lemon Drizzle, another promising youngster, just 12 mths, lovely temperament, nice head study, large eyes c/w shocked look, good shape to skull, correct ears, moved well both directions, just awaiting coat to complete full package. 3' Cushing's Spiritisle Queen Of Hearts.

Bradley's Sharlarna All Eyes On Me, b/w, 7mths of age, lovely expression & sweet natured, good skull shape, moderately broad & rounded in front, large eyes c/w look of surprise, well cushioned muzzle, v shaped ears, suitable neck length, level topline, in good coat for age, silky textured, moved positive in front, neat profile on stance, cobby body, shows much promise. PB (1) 1. Cushing's Spiritisle Lil Miss Muffet, 7 mths of age, good head properties, nice eye, good shaped ears, moderately broad skull, firm bodied, level topline, coat coming through well, moved well both ways, happy tempered.

Rooney, Green & Green's, Jaschin Curtain Call, excitable exhibit, super temperament, nicely shaped head, large eyes c/w look of astonishment, clear nostrils, cushioned muzzle, good neck leading to straight topline, moved with confidence & animation, neat front, good angulations to rear, should do well when finished coat development. 2. Dimitrova – Tsintsarova's Cleo Goscinska Przystan [imp pol], nice head study, rounded in front, reasonable eye c/w desired look, clear nostrils, nice temperament, level topline, moved positive in front, rear needs to strengthen.

Rooney, Green & green's CH Swifthocks Paws For Thought JW, 7 yrs, b/w true to type veteran, moderate broad skull, large eyes c/w desired look, correct ears well feathered, balanced body proportions, level topline, moved very soundly, tail carried correct, in super coat & condition BVIS. 2.
